Man it’s been awhile!

Hard-boiled…

Lakshmi and her daughter visited the farm today and experienced all the wonderful things of an urban farm…petting baby goats, feeding them from the palm of your hand, holding a chicken and having it flap out of your arms etc… During this whole excursion, I noticed an egg in the chicken run…I thought man I missed an egg…I went to collect the egg and noticed it was extremely hot!  It also had a crack in it most likely from...

Delani’s surprise visit…

Our good friend Delani decided to pop up from Tuscon for a surprise visit last week.  While she was here we shared dinner, wine, great conversation and she helped with some morning chores…she even learned how to milk a goat.  I must say for her first time milking she sure did a fine job and picked up the task rather quick!  Needless to see the milk is flowing and many yummy things will soon be concocted!
