AUG 21 – Goat Milk Soap Workshop
GOAT MILK SOAP WORKSHOPS are back! 1pm Sunday August 21.
The milk is flowing and we are stocked for the season. Restock your soap supply or start stocking up for thoughtful handmade gifts. The longer they cure, the longer they last when you use them! Sunday August 21 is my first open date for soap workshop this season. Allow 2 hrs for the workshop and 2-3 weeks for soap cure time! You will be responsible for following up with me to arrange pick-up from the farm or the farmers market. Any soap not picked up within 90 days of the class will be considered a donation to the farm shop.
A) ONE PERSON – $25. Scheduled soap class participant. Join in the chemistry and aromatherapy. Come to learn and bring home a pair of soaps of your choice.
B) WORKSHOP Half Batch of soap – $45. (Most popular!)
Learn the cold process method of hand crafting soap. Heat oils, manage lye, stir in essential oils and pour the bath into molds. Take home a half batch (5 bars) of soap from the farm shop. Custom scent blends require an additional fee and a scheduled pick up 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
C) WORKSHOP Full Batch – $70. (Available for 2 participants. Please indicate participant names at registration.) Take an entire batch home (10 bars of soap!). Make hand crafted gifts for yourself, friends and family for gifts throughout the year. Create your own custom batch of soap, choose your own scent. (Name your soap on the label for $2)
D) ONE on ONE – $125. Join me any week for an already scheduled soap session. Come prepared to haul oils, prep exfoliants, measure, stir, and help with CLEAN UP. You may select a pair of soaps to take home with you. This fee covers up to 3 work sessions to reinforce the material and technique.

Organize a small group for a private party.
E) PRIVATE SESSION – $250. Four batches of soap split amongst yourselves. Bring your friends for a soap party (max 6 to a group). This is the most soap and the most fun option. Come up with a name for your group and add custom labels to your group soap project (included). Additional time slots are available for this option. By appointment.
CUSTOM ORDERS AVAILABLE FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Choose your scent. I’ll make it for you. Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery, longer if ordered after November 15, 2016. Half batch minimum – $45
Full batch – $70
These are production based workshops focused on the cold process method of making hand crafted goat milk soaps. We will use my proprietary recipe for the workshops. You will leave with the tools to research variations of this recipe on your own.
