AUG 20 – CHEESE workshop – Burrata!

Learn to make burrata, an italian buttered cheese.
5pm August 20th at the farm – Cheese workshop
5pm on the farm, following the afternoon DIY Elderberry Syrup class we will use the evening goat milk to make a fresh farm cheese! Learn to make a quick mozzarella and wrap buttered curds for this special italian treat, BURRATA. It’s a bit hot to handle, so bring a high heat tolerance or enjoy the demo of hand stretched mozzarella.
You may take your fresh goat milk mozzarella treats home with you (to top your own homemade pizza perhaps…)
OR you’re welcome to BYO bottle of wine to enjoy your fresh italian cheese straight out of the pot, freshly cooled and drizzled with your hand crafted elderberry syrup from the afternoon workshop. Medicine has never tasted so good!
The evening Cheese workshop is limited to 10 folks.
**Materials are limited, pre-registration is required**
Class begins at 5:00pm, runs until 6:30pm. Farm is closed at 8pm.
$25 covers your seat and raw goat milk to make your cheese. You may choose to enjoy your fresh mozzarella right away or choose to take it home.
DIY Elderberry is a separate class with separate fees and registration required.
