Plant ’em if you’ve Got ’em.

It’s that time of year again, folks. Break out every seed in the house. This is the peak season for planting if you live in the desert. Over the next several weeks, you can sow nearly every variety of seed, excluding your summer melons and squashes of course.
Plant your lettuces, corn, green leafy vegetables kales, chard, cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli. Plant your root vegetables… beets, kohlrabi, turnips, rutabaga, CARROTS. For the immediate gratification, you may as well drop in some radish… it’s just good for the soul to see something germinate so quickly, whether you like the taste or now. 🙂
It’s also a really good time to spread seeds for your spring flowers. Drop ’em and forget ’em and you’ll find yourself in a wonderland of colorful sweetly scented surprises in a few moons.
