Greywater for the Trees!

Wish We Had Acres is scheduled for a grey water installation this fall! We couldn’t be more excited. After all, it only makes sense in the desert to be a bit water conscious. Since we tend to generate a good number of dirty dishes and/or dirty laundry on any given day, our homestead has decided that the dish water and laundry water oughtta grow us some worms and feed the trees.
Join us Sunday, November 17th for a greywater installation work shop led by Ryan Wood with Watershed Management Group. There will be two systems installed that day; a kitchen resource drain and laundry to landscape.
As they say over at Watershed Management Group, learn while earning “sweat equity”! The workshop is open to the public and if you join the Co-op you can earn hours towards a discounted workshop at your own place.
