Open Farm Holiday Event – FRI Dec 23 1-4pm

1-4PM Friday DEC 23 – OPEN FARM HOLIDAY EVENT

Welcome to the neighborhood! Come see us and meet the goats. Are you a holiday shopper hold-out? Did someone just make the list (naughty turned nice?) ?

Every Christmas stocking needs a handcrafted bar of goat milk soap. Made locally (next door!!) right here on the farm. Come meet the goats behind the soap and sample some farm cheeses and craft brews while they last. Donations appreciated. All ages are welcome. We will have our full farm shop items available for purchase.

Don’t have time to wrap a present either? We’ve got you covered. Gift sets available and gift bags included with purchases over $20.

More Info:
10715 Shopton Road West, Charlotte, NC 28278

Please prepare for your visit:

We are a residence first, clinic second and open for farm visitation by appointment and for small events.

We do not offer public restrooms and ask that you plan accordingly with nearby restaurants and grocery for use of their public facilities before or after your visit. There is a Harris Teeter at the corner of Shopton Rd W and Steele Creek Road less than a mile from our farm.

Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes.

Our goats love people and they are food motivated. Please only feed them farm-approved snacks. These do not include your fingers! They do NOT “bite” but they are curious and will accept what you offer them. They love to eat dry leaves, pine trees branches (Christmas trees that have not been chemically treated make wonderful farm donations), pecan leaves, clean grass… and more! Ask us or one of our farm interns!

PARKING IS LIMITED. PLEASE CARPOOL or plan to park off street in the nearby neighborhood.

Shopton Road West can be a busy street to cross at certain times of day. Use caution when crossing the road. If you see a chicken doing the same, please feel free to bring her home. 🙂
